CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas everyone (I know a bit late). We had a lovely day yesterday. Mum and Dad drove up from Melbourne to spend a few days with us and see the girls on Christmas day. We had a beautiful Christmas Lunch at Jennie and Michaels with Kylie, Olivia and Scott. It was such a special day.

Its my 'baby's' birthday today. My god I can't believe that she is 11.

New Stuff

I have been having a 'play'. Here is some of my recent 'stuff'.

Yesterday Kylie, Jennie and I took a trip to Toowoomba for a scrap crawl. We hit our first scrap shop at 10am at Gatton and then headed into Toowoomba. Our final stop was at Highfields and I must say it is the cutest little shop set amongst a set of old 'school' like demountables with a coffee/chocolate shop were we had the best lunch, a patchwork shop, framers, herb/gift shop and scrapbook shop. We took some lovely photos of the girls in a gorgeous old pear tree that was in full bloom.

Hello there thank you for visiting. I thought I would create my own place on the web to put some of my art onto. I am a mother to two gorgeous girls - one 10 years and the other 8 months. I am a midwife who is about to go back to work after a year off. I have a wonderful husband who supports my creative addiction.

I began scrapbooking many years ago, and prior to scrapbooking dabbled in various crafts including jewellery making, quilting and patchwork. I was heavily into rubber stamping. Scrapbooking is my way to record my childrens childhood memories. They will have photographs, stories, personal letters and special momentos about them. This craft allows me to let my daughters know how I feel about them and how much I love them. Scrapbooking is my way of life.




Scrapbooking encompasses all my favourite things - photography, journalling, color, texture, creation, friendships, family and shopping.
