June Convention Scrapbooking Outback comp

I entered the Scrapbooking Outback Convention Competition with this canvas. I was so looking forward to going to the convention to see my canvas on the stand but had to go to Sydney for the weekend at the last minute. It was great news when I found out that I had won the comp and received a fantastic bag of SO goodies. Thanks Alana.

My BABY turns TWO

How can that be that my little girl is two already. I just can't believe where the time has gone.

Here is another of our wedding photos I have scrapped - I love the way Vanessa took these pictures. I have used a Creative Imaginations Transparancy (loving transparancies at the moment). Lots of bling on this one too. This layout for A Creative Place Design Team.

Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all. I had the best Mothers Day ever as I got to spend it with my mum after 12 years of living in a different state. We went to a High Tea at the Ipswich club which was lovely and then took some photos in the garden of our house (whilst the boys completed out pergola which looks awesome I must say).

I did this layout recently for the May sketch challenge for Scrapbooking Outback. It is of my gorgeous friend Heathers High Tea party that we had for her birthday last year. By the way I won the comp YAY!!

So we had a little photo shoot last weeked and I then did this layout. I love the bright citrus colors.

CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas everyone (I know a bit late). We had a lovely day yesterday. Mum and Dad drove up from Melbourne to spend a few days with us and see the girls on Christmas day. We had a beautiful Christmas Lunch at Jennie and Michaels with Kylie, Olivia and Scott. It was such a special day.

Em turns 11

Its my 'baby's' birthday today. My god I can't believe that she is 11.

New Stuff

I have been having a 'play'. Here is some of my recent 'stuff'.

Yesterday Kylie, Jennie and I took a trip to Toowoomba for a scrap crawl. We hit our first scrap shop at 10am at Gatton and then headed into Toowoomba. Our final stop was at Highfields and I must say it is the cutest little shop set amongst a set of old 'school' like demountables with a coffee/chocolate shop were we had the best lunch, a patchwork shop, framers, herb/gift shop and scrapbook shop. We took some lovely photos of the girls in a gorgeous old pear tree that was in full bloom.
